These last 45 days have been some of the hardest and most healing times I’ve ever had arriving to lone star I was terrified ! Simply because getting treatment is a big deal I wasn’t sure of the company or community I would be throwing myself into but wow was it the best decision I’ve ever made. To begin the staff and nurses/psychiatrist were some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met it’s very rare you go to a mental health facility where the employees gentility care for the health of the clients and care deeply for their job. The employees themselves have been hands down the best part of this stay! They’ve allowed me to authentically express who I am while comforting me in ways that allowed me to be vulnerable with my faults which is such a big deal when it comes to healing! Secondly the facility itself is very nice and always clean and provided some of the best meals I’ve had thanks to the chef! The company’s leaders Jenifer and Brandon were the most open minded and helpful people ever they consistently listened to the clients and cared deeply about our input and ways the facility could be better! There was never a complaint of mine that went ignored which I am extremely grateful towards. If you’re having second thoughts on coming to lone star let me be the first to tell you JUST DO IT! This was by far the best treatment I’ve ever gotten and will hold this place very dearly to my heart ! Lone star became a home away from home and I will never forget the great hospitality and kindness lone star has provided me! They give you all the tools you need to be successful it’s just up to you to actually do the work! If I weren’t healed I’d happily do this treatment again but after just 1 stay I know I am ready to take on the world so to that I say thank you lonestar

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Lonestar Mental Health. From the moment my son was admitted, I knew he was in a place where people genuinely cared about his well-being and recovery. A special thank you goes to Bess. She has been absolutely amazing throughout this entire journey. She consistently kept me informed about everything that was happening with my son, including updates on his medications, treatment progress, and overall well-being. Her communication, compassion, and professionalism gave me tremendous peace of mind during a very difficult time. The entire staff has been exceptional. They treated my son with kindness, respect, patience, and encouragement. They provided a variety of activities and therapeutic opportunities that helped him develop coping skills, build confidence, improve his mental health, and engage positively with others. It was wonderful to see him participating in activities that supported both his emotional growth and recovery. The team worked diligently to help my son reach the next level in his treatment and recovery journey. Their dedication, support, and commitment to his success made all the difference. They truly went above and beyond to ensure he had the tools and resources needed to move forward. As a parent, finding a facility that genuinely cares can be overwhelming, but I was so excited and grateful when I found Lonestar Mental Health. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this program to any family looking for compassionate, professional, and effective mental health care for their loved one. Thank you, Bess, and thank you to the entire staff for the incredible work you do every day. You have made a lasting impact on my son’s life and on our family. ❤️

Just left the facility. I had a great experience. Nursing staff was on point, i tried giving them hell and they just showed me nothing but love and support. Techs were all super cool and understanding, through every step of the way. Therapists were really good and it was super beneficial, and case manager was on point from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to go seeking professional help in a safe and homestyle environment. Chef was also amazing, great food everyday. Thank you (cussing was involved with my healing, and the occasional slur. They handled it very well. De escelation of high intensity situations were also on point, by all staff)

I had a relative who was admitted to this facility. I was very uncertain of how this was going to help her immediate mental episode. As soon as she entered, she was taken care of in such a personal and professional manner. They were all very compassionate and respectful to her and her mental state. I am extremely grateful !

How to Treat Panic Attacks at Lonestar Mental Health?

Once the initial assessment is done, our team will be able to come up with a personalized treatment plan to deal with your panic attacks. However, you may already learn more about the panic attack therapy options we offer:

Individual Counseling

Private conversations with a qualified therapist will help you figure out what triggers frequent panic attacks and learn coping mechanisms to know how to manage this condition later on.

Group Therapy

Socialization is great for every mental health patient – talk to your peers about your experiences especially if you went through a traumatic event that causes panic attacks today.

Stress Management Therapy

We will teach you how to deal with stressful situations so that you are ready for any emotional challenge in your way.

Prescription Medication

Only a mental health professional can prescribe panic attack medication that is going to make a patient feel better in the long run whether the symptoms do not occur at all or they are lessened.

Relaxation Techniques

Meditation, positive visualization, and aromatherapy allow the individual to feel safe and comfortable which lowers the chances of experiencing a panic attack in the future.

Lifestyle Changes

Although bad habits and lack of exercise do not necessarily increase the odds of a panic attack, it is natural that a physically healthy person can manage the symptoms of a panic attack with better resilience.

Benefits of Lonestar Mental Health Treatment

We will look for causes of panic attacks and address other mental health issues the patient may have strengthening the relationship between their body and mind.

A patient undergoing treatment at our facility will receive personalized care - we are determined to find what strategies work for every individual.

There will be no strict recovery timeline and no methods we will follow stubbornly if there is no progress after a while - we will adapt to the needs of the patient.

Our specialists have been working in mental health care for more than twelve years - they know how to guide patients towards full recovery.

Overcoming Panic Attacks

If you or someone you know well struggles with lasting and frequent panic attacks, do not neglect this problem – an untreated condition may lead to further physical and mental complications.
